Lizardly Sundays

Yet another Sunday spent replicating amid the deluge... this erotic lizard needs no self-explanatory blah-blah, here it goes:

Lizards in the Sun

We lie like lizards in the sun,
brood descendants,
replicate amid the deluge,
repopulating grammars,
but every night I,
lucid,
tack your shadow
against the receding wall
of a crumbling sky,
tack your
orgasms
as they crest
and ebb,
clear
like
ripples
reddening
my upturned mouth,
flicker of light
that’ll soon
down
to
null
in
one
single
streaming
tangy
line
of
desolate tremors with your pummelo snail metallic taste.
